Why renovate your outdoor areas

The first thing people see of your home

A well-kept entrance and a sound terrace make coming home a pleasure. And a waterproof terrace also protects the rooms or cellar beneath it.

No more leaks

A proper waterproofing membrane under the terrace protects the cellar, garage or living space below.

A welcoming entrance

Granite steps and clad sides: the front steps change the whole facade.

Materials that last

Granite, large ceramic slabs on pedestals, setts: they withstand frost and wear for years.

A perfectly level terrace

Slabs on adjustable pedestals stay perfectly level and let water drain away underneath.

Greater safety

Even steps and a suitable surface prevent slips in the rain or frost.

Everything with the same team

Demolition, groundwork, masonry, waterproofing, tiling: one point of contact from start to finish.

Frequently asked questions

Terraces and steps: your questions

My terrace leaks into the cellar: what should I do?

The waterproofing under the surface generally needs to be redone. We remove the old tiles, lay a torch-on membrane and new drainage, then a new surface.

Why lay slabs on pedestals?

Pedestals let us adjust each slab to the millimetre and allow water to drain under the surface, without damaging the waterproofing.

Granite or tiles for outdoor steps?

Granite is highly resistant to frost and wear, so it is our first recommendation for front steps. Non-slip outdoor tiles can also be suitable.

Do you also do the groundwork?

Yes: demolition with a rock breaker, groundwork, drainage, retaining walls and paving.

Is the quote free?

Yes, for homeowners within 50 km of our offices: we come and look at your outdoor areas and give you a detailed quote, with no obligation.
