Windows: your questions
uPVC or aluminium?
uPVC offers excellent value for money and insulates well. Aluminium allows slimmer frames and large glazed openings. We advise you based on your house and your budget.
Double or triple glazing?
Triple glazing insulates better and is well suited to north-facing facades or very well-insulated houses. We discuss it together during the visit.
Do the walls around the windows need redoing?
No, we make good the reveals and sills inside and out: you have nothing extra to arrange.
How long is the wait?
The windows are made to measure: the lead time depends on the manufacturer and is given to you when you order. Once the windows are delivered, installation is quick.
Is the quote free?
Yes, for homeowners within 50 km of our offices: we come and take measurements and give you a detailed quote, with no obligation.
